Woman-about-town Candace Jordan's career is as pleasantly distinctive as her slicked back and cropped cut. Starting in modeling at the age of 13, Candace quickly became cemented into the fashion industry, ultimately moving to Chicago to work as a Playboy Bunny at the then famous club, gracing four Playboy covers and traveling to Europe and back to continue a very prosperous modeling and acting career.

Now a mainstay in the social scene of Chicago, Candace has also become a force in philanthropic organizations including Common Threads, The Joffrey Ballet, Parkways Foundation, Service Club, PAWS and the Costume Council of the Chicago Historical Society. But her biggest coup lately has been the launch of her blog (www.candidcandace.com) which is quickly becoming the go-to site to see what the movers and shakers in town have been up to.

My favorites…

Must have - Moisturizer:

I must say that I have tried every facial moisturizer known to human kind and I still keep coming back to the over priced La Mer.  It just seems to suit my skin type, not too greasy and yet very effective for smoothing out your skin tone.

Scent:

Kors by Michael Kors

Eye Cream:

Clarins

Mascara:

Lancome Hypnose Deep Black

Concealer:

Cle de Peau

Body Lotion:

Nivea

Which lip gloss are you addicted to this month?

I can’t wear lip gloss, it just feels horrible and sticky on my mouth.  Instead, I dot a touch of shimmer eyeshadow (Mac’s Gleam) in the middle of the top and bottom lip. It works beautifully and stays longer.

I feel prettiest when...

I’m dressed and ready for a party.

I'm always searching for...

the perfect lipstick. Not too red, not too bright but perfect for my skin tone at the time.

My favorite place to shop is...

Bal Harbour Shops in Florida. It has every designer with terrific buyers.

The best beauty tip I ever received…

was to hard line the inside of your upper eyelid. I use Laura Mercier’s Deep Night and it instantly doubles the look of your lash line.

My favorite beauty product from my past is…

frosted lipstick.

The first thing I do before I wake up is...

take the Chihuahuas off the bed.

The last thing I do before I go to bed is...

kiss my husband Chuck.

I could never live without...

Chuck and under eye concealer.

I will splurge on...

shoes and handbags.

I won't spend more than $10 on...

body powder.

Favorite fashion trend of all time...

spandex & short hair.

Someone should have called the fashion police when...

Michelle Obama chose Jason Wu’s Inaugural dress.  I know I might be the only person in the country who didn’t like it but she seemed so uncomfortable in it, always pulling it up and throwing that train around.  I’m sorry.  I didn’t think it suited her.

Never

line your lips noticeably.

Always

be kind.
