Amanda is the Executive Vice President of Public Relations for The Experiential Agency, a comprehensive public relations, event marketing, design and production firm with full-service offices in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.

 

Moving to Chicago in 1996, she was the Managing Partner of Spago Restaurant and Wolfgang Puck Catering.

 

Amanda was also the two-time Emmy Award winning host of “Check, Please” on WTTW Channel 11, for its first two seasons in 2001 and 2002.

Kiehl's Lip Balm - maybe two tubes. I can't be without one anywhere.

YSL lip GOLDEN GLOSS #10 - it looks like there are diamonds in it and is a quick glam fix!

 

What brands are we most likely to find in your vanity?

Nars and Rimmel, Kiehl's skincare, natural homeopathic stuff my facialist makes me do - sea salts, oatmeal masks, chamomile tea, etc.

I actually get sleep.

the best fake eyelashes. Seriously, how do you put them on??????

 

My favorite place to shop is …

jake and shopjake.com - for everything from jeans, formal dresses and the perfect piece of jewelry. For beauty products Walgreens, ULTA and Barneys. I have my fave things I can get at each place. I also swear by the sea salt body scrub at h2o plus – it takes the dullest, driest winter skin and makes it glisten.

 

The best beauty tip I ever received was …

get sleep and drink hot water with lemon – it clarifies the skin.

My most embarrassing beauty moment was …

My boyfriend and I went to Michigan for the weekend with friends – and my hair the next day literally looked like BON JOVI, completely frizzed out and crazy! I had no good hair products with me to fix it (like Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream). But at least my boyfriend got a HUGE kick out of it, and now it's a standing joke.

 

 

The first thing I do when I wake up is…

Make hot water with lemon before I have coffee and wash my face with a homemade sea salt scrub.

 

The last thing I do before I go to bed is …

put on Kiehl's 100 times.

Sebastian Body Double hairspray. I carry baby cans of it in my purse.
